The Maui Channel Swim is an annual swimming relay race swum between the islands of Lanai and Maui. It is held the Saturday of Labor Day weekend each year.
Through the year we gather names and recruit people from the Boulder Aquatic Masters and Stanford Masters teams and friends and acquaintances. Sometime late in July or early August we finalize teams based on a highly proprietary and not-so-well-understood method of optimizing fun and speed at the same time.
